# Process a Commercial Register PDF (background)

POST https://api.vlenseg.com/v1/ocr/process_pdf
Content-Type: application/json

Submits a Commercial Register PDF for background OCR processing. Because processing can take a long time, this call only queues the job and returns immediately — it does not return extracted data. Poll `GET /v1/ocr/get_process_pdf_result/{transaction_id}` or subscribe to the completion webhook to retrieve the result once processing finishes.

## Authentication

- `ApiKey` header (required) — Static API key issued to your tenant. Required on every request.
- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — End-user JWT from registration or login. Required for verification, signing, and user-scoped operations.
